DRAWING INSPIRATION – DAVID MACK

I drew a portrait of comic book artist and writer, David Mack (Kabuki, Daredevil)

Discovering David Mack’s Kabuki: Metamorphosis was a mind blowing event that redirected the trajectory of my creative explorations away from “traditional” superhero comic book illustrations and toward an expansive universe of paint splatters and pencil squiggles. David Mack’s work was a bridge between Spider-man and Picasso. David Mack’s work inspired me to start painting. David Mack’s work lead me to discover other amazing artists like Kent Williams, Ashley Wood, Dave Mckean, Bill Sienkiewicz and many others.
